Title: Versatility Of Facial Artery Musculomucosal Flap

Abstract

Facial artery musculomucosal flap(FAMM) is an intraoral flap based on the facial artery employed for reconstruction following ablation of T1 and T2 tumors. Through our study we concluded that FAMM flap can be a considered as a trustworthy flap for medium sized defects without any undue morbidity to donor site with higher flap survival rate

Biography

Shweta Sabu is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon hailing from India. She had secured 2 nd rank in university exam state wide .She has embarked on her quest to become a compassionate surgeon to improve the quality of life in Cancer patients.She has published several articles in the arena of trauma, oncology and is also a co author in accepted manuscript in an upcoming Springler textbook on cleft and craniofacial surgery
